Introduction

The Keipro KS-Custom Ash-M S.S.H is an electric guitar where visual beauty and sonic versatility converge. Its two-piece swamp ash body displays intricate natural grain patterns beneath a carefully applied translucent finish, complemented by the refined shimmer of a pearl-white pickguard.

Its roasted maple neck and fingerboard provide a stable, responsive playing platform, while the slim C-shaped profile offers a fast and comfortable feel. A versatile S.S.H pickup configuration, coil-splitting capability, professional Gotoh locking tuners, and a two-point tremolo system complete an instrument designed for expressive and dependable performance.

FSSW Stacked-Coil Technology

This version of the KS-Custom Ash-M features FSSW stacked-coil technology. The system is designed to eliminate 60-cycle hum while retaining the clarity and tonal character associated with traditional single-coil pickups.

This provides quiet performance under clean settings as well as heavier gain, without sacrificing the glassy chime, sweetness and dynamic response of the Mercury S1 pickup set.

  • Model: SG381 MG-T 07

  • Type: Locking tuners

  • Configuration: Six in line

The Gotoh locking tuners provide improved tuning stability and make string changes faster and more convenient.

Tonal Character

The Mercury S1 neck and middle pickups capture the recognizable character of early-1960s single coils, delivering glassy chime and bell-like sweetness.

The bridge pickup is dynamic and highly responsive to picking strength. It cleans up when played gently and develops harmonically rich warmth when played more aggressively. Its coil-split function unlocks a more traditional single-coil bridge tone, increasing the guitar’s overall versatility.

Combined with the naturally resonant swamp ash body and articulate roasted maple construction, the instrument is capable of covering pristine clean sounds, expressive blues tones, defined rhythm parts and gain-driven lead sounds.
