DESCRIPTION
Ten years ago Chapman Guitars launched the ML2, our own stripped-back take on a classic. A decade later we are relaunching our ML2 as a tweaked, refined and redefined model.
With our focus on tuning stability and playability, we have employed a “satisfyingly straight string angle“ via our new “Pennant” headstock design, bringing a balance of tension across the strings. All the correct ingredients are in place to deliver a variety of tones coupled with superior playability. From the Macassar ebony fretboard and our super rolled edges, to our own Chapman Stentorian Zerø, ALNICO 5Humbuckers, this beautiful satin finished singlecut will deliver everything you need to get the job done. Repeat after me “I don’t need another guitar” (Adds to cart)
FEATURES
MAPLE & EBONY, PERFECTION
A Macassar Ebony fretboard on a flame maple neck is an irresistible combination for the guitarist considering the ML2. As well as the C-shaped neck carve and the rolled fretboard edges, there’s a glorious satin finish that makes this guitar smooth to play.
PREMIUM BODY CONSTRUCTION
Chapman’s ML2 thin lightweight Mahoghany body and satin Ash veneer is an exquisite blend of form and function and is perfect for the cross-genre musician. It’s ergonomically contoured but the shape and build also provides a balanced tonal foundation.
PICKUPS
Bristling with a pair of Chapman Stentorian Zero humbucker the tonal breadth of the Chapman ML2 is something to behold. Attain punchy, saturated sounds with a high-gain amp settings, or achieve glassy clean tones via the 3-way switch and the coil-split feature on the tone pot. Whatever the genre, the ML2 delivers!
